Receive emergency calls from citizens for EMS service; and assign priority to calls based on strict medical protocols, procedures and SOPS. Operate CAD, automatic vehicle locations system, and telephone and radio communications system. Must receive Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification within one year. Requires High School diploma, SC EMT Certification with two years experience (EMD) preferred), and SC Certified Emergency Medical Technician.
