Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Wednesday, September 19 arrested a 27-year-old Lexington man on an arrest warrant that alleges that the man broke into a pawn and gun shop on Sunset Boulevard near Lexington on Tuesday, September 18. The man stole three handguns from the business.
Lexington County Sheriff James R. Williams used a hammer to shatter the glass on top of a display case and stole one .45-caliber Heritage revolver, one .45-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver and one .357-caliber Ruger Blackhawk handgun.
