Four Men Arrested in Residential Burglary

Adam Branham Antoine Stroman Meechie Stroman

Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested four Gilbert men on Thursday, August 29 on charges that the four men broke into a workshop outside a home on Two Notch Road near Gilbert and stole scrap metal from the workshop. The homeowner saw the four men in the workshop and reported the incident to the Sheriff’s Department.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said deputies arrested Michael Damien Blasco, 17, Adam Kevin Branham, 22, Antoine Damarco Stroman, 19, and Meechie Joseph Stroman, 18, on a charge of second-degree burglary. The four men live together at 3661-B Two Notch Road, Gilbert. Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman are brothers.

Blasco and Branham were released from the Lexington County Detention Center on Thursday after the two men each posted a $20,000 bond, Metts said. Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman were being held on Friday, August 30 at the county Detention Center on bail totaling $20,000 each.

Arrest warrants allege that at about 12:12 a.m. on Thursday Blasco, Branham, Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman broke into the workshop outside the home on Two Notch Road with the intent to steal and carry away items that were in the building, Metts said. The homeowner saw Blasco, Branham, Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman inside the workshop and provided deputies with detailed physical descriptions of each of the four men, who ran away after being seen in the workshop by the homeowner.

Deputies went to the home where Blasco, Branham, Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman live, Metts said. Deputies found the four men were pretending to be asleep in their beds.

The homeowner positively identified Blasco, Branham, Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman as the four men who had broken into the workshop outside his residence on Two Notch Road, Metts said.

Deputies found that items from the workshop had been placed in piles near the building’s rear door, Metts said. The items included copper wire, two metal pans and one metal light fixture.

Metts asked anyone with information about additional criminal activity involving Blasco, Branham, Antoine Stroman or Meechie Stroman to contact the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department at (803) 785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Citizens also can provide information anonymously by accessing the Crime Tip link on the Sheriff’s Department web site (www.lexingtonsheriff.com).
