The construction of a new courthouse and an addition onto the
current administration is progressing.
Substantial completion of the construction is anticipated for late
Fall 2003, as originally projected.
As of November 18, 2002, the pouring of the fourth floor of the
new courthouse is almost complete. Its
occupancy will be phased in, by department or agency.
This process will start near the beginning of 2004.
The photograph below shows the courthouse under
construction.
The addition to the administration building also will
involve some improvements to the façade of the existing building.
This primarily will involve glasswork and improvements to the
fascia where currently much of the paint has peeled away.
