The
Lexington County Forfeited Land
Commission owns the listed mobile homes outright, pursuant to tax sale and legal execution. The homes are for sale "as is" and "where is" without any warranty real or implied. Mobile homes are offered for sale at recovery cost or best offer.
- The sale includes all content, improvements, attachments, and fixtures.
- The sale does not include the land where the mobile home is located.
- Relocation is Buyer's expense.
- Mobile homes are in most cases located on privately owned land. The FLC cannot grant prospective bidders the right to trespass on private property to inspect a mobile home.
- Each unit listed carries a recovery price. This is the basic price.
- A bid submission form may be obtained at the Delinquent Tax Counter in the County Treasurer's Office.
- The FLC will consider any bid, but reserves the right to refuse all offers.
- All bids are considered based on offered price, need, and community interest.
- If more than one bid is received on the same unit the FLC may accept either bid or decline both.
- If equal bids are received on the same unit the FLC will consider them in order of submission.
- Bidders have the right to offer a bid amount different from the recovery price.
- Successful bidders will have to pay the current year taxes as an addition to the bid amount.
- Buyers by law must obtain a moving permit from the County Mobile Home Department prior to relocation of a mobile home.
- All Bid Sales Are Final.
